LE announced that a small gray sweatshirt was found, location not specified, which they are treating as possibly belonging to Hassani Campbell, missing from Fremont, CA, who was wearing a gray sweatshirt when last seen. Also found in the area was a red sock. A team searchers is in the area and will be conducting a search today. I didn't happen to see Ms. Cheyvonne Molino there, however.

Hassani's Foster parents arrived to look at the clothing found. Louis Ross, foster dad says the sweatshirt found is a different brand. The foster parents had been arrested two weeks ago for the murder of Hassani, then released when the DA refused to prosecute them for not enough evidence. LE does consider Louis Ross a suspect.

I checked his missing poster and there was no mention of socks he was wearing, just gray sweatshirt and gray pants.

Another thing I find interesting is that in the initial BOL (be on the lookout) for Hassani they officers were looking for a child in leg braces. Several days later Louis Ross corrected that information stating that he was not wearing leg braces. WHY did he not correct this on the night Hassani went missing!?

How would the foster dad know what brand of clothes the boy wore?

The foster dad is probably too dumb to realize that Hassani's DNA will likely be on the sweatshirt if it was his.

Yes, men pay so much attention to brands, don't they? NOT!

Reminds me of "Legally Blond"...."What kind of shoes are these?" "Uhhhhhh.....black?"

My hubby has NO IDEA what brands our kids wear...I don't think he could ever pick out our kids clothes if someone brought an item to him and asked if it belonged to us.

I think there is a good chance that the sweatshirt is Hassani's and the foster dad is trying to mislead, since he is a suspect.

I agree...that's why I said that the stepdad is too stupid to realize that they will still check the sweatshirt out for any evidence linking to Hassani...hair, fibers from Hassani's home, skin/blood, whatever.
